Sushant Singh Rajput was born on Tuesday, 21 January 1986 (age 34 years; at the time of death) in Maldiha of Purnia district of Bihar. Their zodiac sign is Aquarius.
He did his schooling from St. Karen High School, Patna and Kulachi Hansraj Model School, Delhi. After completing his schooling, he got admission in Delhi Technological University (DTU).
Sushant was a bright student since childhood and achieved AIR # 7 at the 2003 AIEEE. He also won the Physics National Olympiad and cleared eleven engineering entrance exams. He dropped out in the third year of college to pursue his passion for acting.
When he was a student at Delhi Technological University, Sushant developed an interest in dance. He joined Shyamak Davar’s dance group against his family’s decision.
Shyamak was impressed by the actor’s dancing talent and gave him a chance to perform at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and Filmfare Awards.

Family
Sushant was born in a Rajput family in Patna, Bihar. His father KK Singh is a retired government official.
His mother died of brain hemorrhage in 2002. Sushant has 4 elder sisters. His sister, Mitu Singh is a state-level cricketer.
He was very close to his mother and had written some poems in her memory. Some lines of one of his poems
